Who is JCB?
In 1945, Joseph Cyril Bamford (Mr. JCB) launched the equipment manufacturing company that bears his initials with the manufacture of an agricultural tipping trailer. Fast forward 76 years, and the company is still privately held and operated by the Bamford family and is in fact the largest privately held equipment manufacturer in the world. Savannah, Georgia is home to JCB’s North American headquarters. From this facility we manufacture the company’s skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, Teleskid, telehandlers, and the High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE), a product built specifically for the US Army to protect those working to keep our nation safe.
