The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a relationship-driven, entrepreneurial professional to lead partnership development and engagement efforts for Equalis Group and KaizenIQ™, our cutting edge, AI-driven procurement (for members) and sales (for suppliers) enablement platform.
This new role bridges strategic relationship-building and new technology adoption, focusing on two critical audiences:
- National, state, and regional associations that serve the public sector procurement, finance, operations, and end users (e.g., facilities, athletics, or IT departments).
- Awarded supplier sales leaders and teams, helping them leverage KaizenIQ™ to deepen engagement with public agencies and drive cooperative contract growth.

What You’ll Do:
Build Strategic Partnerships
- Develop and strengthen relationships with national associations serving public sector leaders such as NIGP, ASBO, NAEP, GFOA, and their state and regional chapters.
- Identify win-win opportunities that deliver value to association members while expanding awareness of and credibility for Equalis Group and KaizenIQ.
- Collaborate with association leaders to deliver educational programs, conference presentations, and co-branded initiatives that highlight Equalis Group’s leadership in cooperative procurement and technology.
- Serve as the primary Equalis Group liaison to key associations and chapters nationwide, while maintaining regular, purposeful engagement.
Drive KaizenIQ Engagement & Utilization
- Promote public sector procurement and end user adoption and utilization of KaizenIQ and its tools, especially Solicitation Builder, a free and transformative resource purpose-built for public procurement professionals.
- Develop strategies and programs to help supplier teams adopt and actively use KaizenIQ to increase contract utilization and improve member outreach.
- Lead outreach through live and virtual demos, webinars, and conference presentations to drive utilization of KaizenIQ among members, suppliers, and partners.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate marketing efforts and align messaging, resources, and outreach campaigns.
- Gather feedback to inform continuous improvement of KaizenIQ.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven success in building long-term partnerships and delivering measurable value.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- A self-starter mindset with curiosity, creativity, and a genuine desire to serve the public sector community.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in:
- Public sector sales or business development,
- Association partnerships or membership management,
- Strategic relationship or stakeholder engagement, and/or
- Procurement, government relations, or cooperative contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Familiarity with SalesForce.com or similar CRM systems preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary commensurate with relevant experience, plus performance-based incentives.

- Cleveland-based or remote position with regular travel to national and regional events (20–30%).
