Who Is Equalis? You Are.

Equalis Group is a cooperative purchasing organization that provides contracts competitively solicited by public agencies (Lead Agencies) for a wide array of products and services. Our Master Agreements are established through rigorous and transparent competitive solicitations conducted in accordance with public procurement guidelines to ensure our members stay in compliance.

We are a Member-Driven organization that believes in the power of partnership: when we work together, we achieve more.

The Equalis Difference

Responsive & Knowledgeable

We work hand-in-hand with our members to develop and deliver the industry’s best value from the most highly qualified suppliers. The Equalis Group contracting process enables awarded suppliers to provide their expertise to our members and help our members secure the right solution.

Committed To Compliance

Equalis Group collaborates with our Lead Agencies to deliver compliant, publicly procured cooperative agreements that public sector entities across the country can utilize to: i) quickly acquire the products and services they need; ii) receive better pricing through the collective buying power of Equalis Group Members; and, iii) save time through Equalis Group’s legal and compliant alternative to conducting their own resource-consuming solicitation process.

Equalis Group’s Master Agreements are procured in accordance with the requirements of 2-C.F.R. Part 200, commonly referred to as “Uniform Guidance”. Why is that important? Because public agencies receiving federal dollars can typically spend those dollars through our already-procured contracts without having to conduct their own bid or RFP.

Personal Service & Support

Equalis Group believes in the value of personal service. Members each have a dedicated point of contact, with a name, direct dial, and email address. This individual works tirelessly to help members manage the complexities of designing and implementing the best solutions through our publicly procured agreements.

Optimized Master Agreements

At Equalis Group, we recognize each member is unique: the needs of a large urban municipality are different than a small rural school district or mid-sized suburban college. Our objective in developing a new program is to create all-encompassing RFP specifications from which members can configure the best solution for their organization through our already-procured, cooperative agreement.

Our Master Agreements typically incorporate suppliers’ full range of products and services, ensuring our members can purchase everything they need through a single contract. Our competitively solicited contracts are designed to be flexible, enabling our supplier partners to configure the exact solution each individual member requires.

Lowering Your Total Costs

The price you pay for something doesn’t equal what it actually costs you. Our Lead Agencies’ specifications are intentionally designed to reduce the total resources (in both hard and soft costs) our members expend throughout the entire life cycle of a product or service, from procurement and acquisition to delivery, payment, and ongoing service.

Our Convictions

Knowledge & Expertise Is Power

Industries and markets evolve, often at breathtaking speed. Public agencies are often short-staffed and do not have the resources necessary to keep up with the latest industry developments and capabilities in every spending category they need to source.

Our publicly procured, competitively solicited contracts enable Equalis Group members to leverage the knowledge of our team and awarded suppliers to develop and implement the best possible solution for each member based on that member’s unique needs, circumstances, and budgetary constraints.

Award The Best Suppliers, Not Every Respondent

Our Lead Agencies believe in awarding contracts to a limited number of high-quality supplier partners rather than issuing awards to every respondent. Our members know that Equalis Group’s supplier partners won the Lead Agencies’ solicitation and were selected based on their ability to provide you the best possible solutions and the greatest possible value.

Inclusion Isn’t Optional

We believe in inclusivity and diversity. Equalis Group members and suppliers represent all walks of life, have different procurement objectives, and varying beliefs and perspectives. With members ranging from rural communities to suburban school districts to large cities and universities, and supplier partners running the gamut from emerging technology companies to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to large multinational corporations, Equalis Group is truly a melting pot… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
